Isabella was born at Rushall, Staffs. in 1837, married Henry Jackson - a solicitor and clerk to the justices - at Cannock in 1857 and died at Donnington, Salop in 1914. She was a daughter of Frederick Henry Gilpin and Isabella Swinton Todd. Isabella and Henry raised their family in West Bromwich and Handsworth, Birmingham before moving to Shropshire.
