Frederick Henry was born in 1804 at Cannock, married Isabella Swinton Todd at Much Wenlock, Salop in 1833 (the Gilpin link with the Swinton and Todd families) and died at Cannock in 1887. He was Henry Swinton Jackson's grandfather. Frederick Henry along with Bernard took over the responsibility for their father's business after their older brother George Bradney died in 1841. In his will Frederick Henry refers to his share of Hoarley Grange, Much Wenlock, the plate he possessed with the Swinton crest, a portrait of his father (possibly the one illustrated on this website) and a print of the Allied Russian Generals.
