Henry Swinton's Maternal Grandparents
Frederick Henry was born in 1804 at Cannock, married Isabella Swinton Todd at Much Wenlock, Salop in 1833 (the Gilpin link with the Swinton family) and died at Cannock in 1887. Frederick Henry took over responsibility for his father's business after his older brother George Bradney died in 1841. In his will Frederick Henry refers to his share of Hoarley Grange, Much Wenlock, the plate he possessed with the Swinton crest, a portrait of his father, William Gilpin, and a print of the Allied Russian Generals.
